Iowa Chapter

  • Since the 2014 ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, the Iowa Chapter has grown in a number of ways thanks to the generosity of so many! The chapter was able to hire an additional Care Services Coordinator which allowed us to better serve people living with ALS in Iowa. Funds were also used to increase the number of families we were able to support financially through our Quality of Life Grant Program, enabling us to fund all requests that came into our chapter without having to deny any of them.

The Iowa Chapter has also opened or joined three ALS Clinics in the state, ensuring that people with ALS are receiving the best care possible and seeing the best doctors to serve their needs. We have also been able to expand our Equipment Loan Program and Assistive Technology fund so that we have everything someone might need along their journey with ALS.

Many thanks to everyone who donated to the Ice Bucket Challenge, and who continue to support our mission. We could not do this without you!

Challenge Me to Empower People Living with ALS
